Can you help children to save?

By opening a Junior Saver's Account on behalf of a child you can make regular payments or one-off gifts on birthdays and special occasions to build up a nest-egg for their future.

These savings are not used to make loans to members but are separately invested and attract a higher annual dividend than those of adult members.

Children can also open up and manage their own accounts so they can learn to save and budget from an early age.

If they're under 18 they can pay their Education and Maintenance Allowance into their Junior Saver's Account, save for holidays and special purchases, and get on with managing their own money, independently.

And if they need us, we're here to help.

On Saturdays, we even have a dedicated counter for Junior Savers so they never have to queue.

To open a Junior Saver's Account, simply bring in proof of your address and the young person's birth certificate, and we'll set up an account the same day.
