The objectives of the WFCCU are:-

To improve the financial, economic and social condition of members by:--

• Promoting thrift and savings among its members.
• Providing loans to members for productive and provident purposes.
• Providing other services as may be requested by members and approved by the Board in accordance with the provisions of the Credit Union Act 1979 and the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
• Signposting members to other professional advice services as appropriate.

To adopt the following additional social goals:-

• To contribute to the alleviation of poverty in the community.
• To contribute to the regeneration of the community.

To encourage the spirit and practice of self-help and co-operation and promote the development of co-operative ideas by:-

• Educating members in co-operative principles and practices.
• Affiliating or collaborating with any other co-operative societies or organizations.
• Establishing a financially sustainable and viable community business.
• Understanding and meeting the appropriate financial requirements of our members by delivering a competitive service which is valued by our members.
